This blog is designed to highlight the remarkable college students in the 417-area who are currently laying the foundation to change the future. Although they come from different backgrounds and have varying career interests, each of them are passionate about leadership in their communities and beyond.
There are an endless amount of student leaders in Southern Missouri, which makes selecting who to feature a challenge. However, we look for a few important qualifiers that we look for when searching for our leaders.
- Our student leaders currently attend College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri.
- Each of our student leaders are heavily involved in their campus or community.
- Our student leaders have each demonstrated their character through situations in daily life.
Each post will also follow a basic format as we get to know these student leaders.
- Information about their childhood and upbringing
- Influential leaders in their life that inspired them
- A history of their road to College of the Ozarks
- Why they selected the major they are studying
- Their connections to faith and leadership
- Leadership characteristics they desire to grow in
- Where they see themselves in the future
